I am lost for words. Deandre Kralevic comes out with a banger and yet he leaves us with a jaw dropping cliffhanger! This book has it all!!! Forbidden romance, gang related violence, the spice is spicing, dark romance, Down Low book 1 of Blood In Blood Out was incredible! I can't wait for you guys to read it on June 25!!! Deandre leaves us in a chokehold with this book!

Deandre has written another masterpiece, but... What. The. Actual. Cliffhanger!!! This book is fast paced, pulls you in from page one, and keeps you wanting more even after it is over. This book follows Reign, Daja, and Ice. Reign is a Blood while Ice is a Crip. Daja, well, she is caught in the middle. Daja is Reign's girl, who turns out to be playing with fire. Daja ends up messing with the one man who can get her killed. All the creeping, scheming, leaking information, and lying catch up to Daja. However, Ice has her back. I am the odd one out because #TeamIce! The way I was so mad at the ending of this book, though, had me throwing my Kindle!

I initially thought I'd be too much of a chicken to read this. I mean, do you see that cover?!? Haha, but my two friends and I read it together and it was the best short read of 2025! Deandre is intentional and sharp with his descriptive writing. I thoroughly enjoyed the plot and how the book ended. I can't wait to read more of his books. If you're interested in a revenge folklore, get into it asap!

Best. Read. Of. The. Year. HARD TO PUT DOWN!!!! Deandre absolutely made a piece of ART with this book literally from the very first page of the book you are pulled into a rollercoaster ride of emotions! You will most definitely be gasping, screaming at the characters, and yes even laughing out loud (Not sure if that makes me dark or not?) and when I tell you it's hard to put down, I didn't want to put it down this was a buddy read that's the only reason it wasn't finished sooner. Deandre gave Marcus & Alison so much depth. But at the same time each character kept you on your toes. You think you have it figured out then BAM it switches up on you. This is an erotic suspense thriller with literally every chapter giving you something! I also like how answers were provided and we weren't left at the end of the story with a cliffhanger. I don't want to list any spoilers, but I will say I HIGHLY RECOMMEND PICKING THIS UP AND READING IT! JOB WELL DONE, Deandre!!
